      It is with great pleasure that the Board of Cancer Legal Line announces that our founder and Executive Director, Lindy Yokanovich, is being honored as the Advocacy Award recipient at the Angel Foundation's 8th Annual Angel Awards Event. 

      Since 2001, Angel Foundation has provided financial assistance for cancer patients to meet critical non-medical needs, as well as education and support programs to families in the Twin Cities metro area who have a parent with cancer.  The event will take place at the Minneapolis Hilton on Saturday, February 20, 2010. 

     As the nomination for Lindy stated,

"Lindy exemplifies how everyone can make a difference in the life of someone facing cancer, no matter in what field we may be professionally trained."

     We are very proud of Lindy and of what she has accomplished here at Cancer Legal Line.  This organization would not exist without her inspiration and her tireless work.  Please join us in celebrating her award by donating in her honor and/or by attending the Angel Awards Event.
